Amy Quinn, FNP-C, MSN

Background

Amy is originally from a small town in northeastern Ohio and attended The Ohio State University in Columbus. She played the E-flat soprano cornet in The Ohio State University Marching Band for five years and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1999.
She completed the Nurse Internship Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and worked as a Medical Intensive Care Unit nurse at the university. Later, she served as an ICU travel nurse in several states across the U.S. before settling in Colorado in 2004. Amy then joined DaVita’s Denver Acute Program, providing inpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy for three years, followed by three years at DaVita Parker Dialysis Center. She served as Clinical Coordinator in both programs.
Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification from Regis University in Denver in 2012. She worked in nephrology for four years, caring for adults with acute and chronic kidney disease, including medical management, hemodialysis oversight, and modality education. She then transitioned to urgent care for five years and has been practicing in interventional pain management since 2021.
She is honored to be part of the Denver Spine and Pain Institute and is committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care to improve quality of life, reduce pain, and enhance function. Amy values building relationships with patients and their families and feels privileged to walk alongside them in their health journey.

Hobbies & Interest

Amy walks in faith, loves spending time with her 2 adult children, and with her sweet animals (3-legged little poodle Lebowski, large Albino rabbit Bun-Bun, and bearded dragon Samuel). Hobbies include playing pickleball and Scrabble.
